Event Supporters

Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS) is a non-profit organization founded in 2008, 37 Universities and Research Centers are shareholders of GFOSS. Our main goal is to promote Openness through the use and the development of Open Standards and Open Technologies in Education, Public Administration and Business in Greece. We are platform for Open Standards, Free Software, Open Content, Open Data & Open Hardware in Greece. The major Greek Universities and Research Centers participate in GFOSS, while leading members of the Greek community of developers play a key role in the implementation of our policies.

The University of Macedonia has a long-standing tradition of hosting prestigious academic conferences and events. These conferences hosted by the University demonstrate the institution's commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and positioning itself as a hub for intellectual discourse and knowledge-sharing. Event Organizers

The Open Source Software Community of the University of Macedonia is a group organized by students of the University, aiming to raise awareness and promote Open Source Software, Open Source Hardware, and Free Software. Our team mainly consists of students from the Department of Applied Informatics, but we welcome anyone interested in contributing to our cause in any way they can. Participation in our activities is voluntary, and there is no obligation to contribute financially unless you choose to support the team in covering occasional expenses, such as purchasing necessary equipment or organizing events.
